Your journey begins as we meet at the airport for an overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. As you settle in for the flight, take time to relax and anticipate the days ahead, filled with new experiences and discoveries.

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, our team will assist with customs and baggage before we board our private coach. We’ll head to our hotel along the Mediterranean coast, where you can rest after your flight and enjoy the beautiful seaside setting. Depending on arrival time, you may have the opportunity for a short walk along the waterfront before we gather for a welcome briefing and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3

Exploring the coast

We begin the day at Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Roman port city built by Herod the Great. Walk through the impressive ruins of the amphitheater, palace, and aqueduct, and see where Paul stood trial before Felix (Acts 24).

Next, we travel to Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Enjoy a panoramic view of the Jezreel Valley before heading to Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast (John 2:1-11).

We then visit Mount Precipice, believed to be the place where the people of Nazareth attempted to throw Jesus off a cliff after He declared Himself the fulfillment of prophecy (Luke 4:28-30).

As we drive by Nazareth, we’ll pass sites related to Jesus’ early years before heading north to the Galilee region, where we will check in to our hotel overlooking the water.

DAY 4

The Sea of Galilee

We begin the morning at the Ancient Boat Museum, where you’ll see a preserved 2,000-year-old fishing boat from Jesus’ time. Then, set sail on the Sea of Galilee with a peaceful wooden boat ride, reflecting on the stories of Jesus calming the storm and walking on water.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s Fish lunch at a lakeside restaurant before visiting key sites along the shore:

  • Capernaum – Often called Jesus’ own city, this was the center of His ministry and the home of Peter.

  • Chorazim – One of the cities Jesus rebuked for its unbelief (Matthew 11:21), known for its well-preserved basalt synagogue.

  • Tabgha – The traditional site of the miracle of the loaves and fish.

  • Magdala – An ancient synagogue where Jesus likely taught and the hometown of Mary Magdalene.

Our day ends with a baptism service at the Jordan River, an opportunity for those who wish to be baptized or rededicate their faith in the waters where John the Baptist ministered.

DAY 5

SUN| MARCH 30

The Northern Region

Today, we travel north to Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus asked His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:13-20). Next, we explore Tel Dan, an archaeological site featuring ruins from the time of Abraham and the divided kingdom of Israel.

As we continue, we’ll drive by Mount Hermon, Israel’s highest peak, and drive past the ruins of Nimrod’s Castle, a medieval fortress. From Mount Bental, we’ll take in spectacular views of the Golan Heights, a region rich in both biblical and modern history.

A highlight of the day is a lunch at Bahat Winery/Kibbutz Ein Zivan, where we’ll experience local flavors and learn about Israel’s unique agricultural heritage.

DAY 6

MON| MARCH 31

Through the Jordan Valley

We depart Galilee and travel south through the Jordan Valley, stopping at Beit Shean, one of Israel’s most well-preserved Roman cities. Walk along ancient streets, see the grand amphitheater, and explore the ruins of the city where King Saul’s body was displayed (1 Samuel 31).

Continuing our journey, we pass by the Wadi Qelt, a dramatic desert canyon reminiscent of the wilderness where Jesus fasted for 40 days. By evening, we arrive in Jerusalem, where we check into our hotel and take in our first view of the city.

DAY 7

We begin the day at the Mount of Olives, with a stunning view over the city. Walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before His arrest.

In the afternoon, we explore the City of David, including:

  • Jeremiah’s Cistern – An ancient underground water system.

  • Hezekiah’s Tunnel – A fascinating 1,750-foot tunnel carved in biblical times.

  • The Pool of Siloam – Where Jesus healed the blind man (John 9).

  • Option 1: Masada & Dead Sea – Travel to Masada, the ancient fortress where Jewish rebels made their last stand against the Romans. Then, float in the Dead Sea, known for its mineral-rich waters.

  • Option 2: Self-Guided Jerusalem Exploration – Suggestions include the Temple Institute, Mount Zion, Ramparts Walk, shopping at Mamilla Mall or Ben Yehuda Street, or experiencing the bustling Shuk (market).

  • Today, we explore the Old City’s key sites:

    • Mount Zion – Home to the traditional Upper Room.

    • The Jewish Quarter – Including the Herodian Mansion and the Temple Institute.

    • The Western Wall – A deeply significant site of Jewish prayer.

    • The Pool of Bethesda & St. Anne’s Church – Where Jesus healed a paralyzed man (John 5).

    • Calvary & the Garden Tomb – A quiet place of reflection on Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
